Project Brief
The incentivized objective was to create a product that effectively saved space for its intended user.
Over the month prior we spent scrutinizing folding chairs, we thought furniture with the ability to adapt its shape was very interesting and could be useful for our design product.

Problems
Obstruction
Mitigate the hassle of navigating through furniture, nor have it obstruct the scenery. With land prices being so high worldwide, Users should be able to admire their multiple belongings at the same time.
Risk
Many homeowners have outdoor furniture, which they do not utilize as much as they wish to by lowering the risk of injuries to users, particularly young children who like to roam outdoors freely.
Cleanliness
The outdoor settings likely to be used are those covered by an eave.
Over these months, unused outdoor furniture adorns and occupies the only useable area preventing the fulfillment of other tasks such as using a clothes horse.
Space
Owners are unlikely to move their current furniture due to the weightiness and need for multiple people to transport it.
Ideations
From there, we believe people deserve to enjoy the outdoor areas of their property without completely hiding their furniture , cheap and considerably lower class-market products are often deemed as tacky and unappealing to the eye which is an area Adaptapanel aims to change.

Concept
Revolutionary space-saving furniture products with the capabilities of providing multiple functions which have yet to be considered in the furniture industry
The Adaptapanel allows its user to have outdoor furniture that does not clutter the outdoor area of their property and packs flat when not in use.
Incorporates an active, universal living hinge that can be inserted within differently shaped side profiles in order to create a new product, serving a different purpose.
